Description: Just an explanation of what I think the perks are best for and what they are aimed to do. If your looking for something specific, hit Ctrl + F and type in what you want to find. Perk One: Special Grenades X 3: I find that this works best for distracting numerous ammounts of enemies whilst trying to reach a certain destination. When I use this perk, I would consider using Signal Flares, as you can throw these in the opposite direction to where you are trying to acheive. This will make the ememy think "Right, someone is going that way" and therefore turn their attention in that direction. I would also think about using Tabun Gas, but this can have self inflicted damage too as you can Gas yourself as well as the enemy. Satchel Charge X 2: I personaly love Satchel Charges, but it can sometimes be frustating to get kills with them unless you have had a little experience with them. They take a long while to throw out and there is also a small delay on the detonator. These can be more useful then grenades as you can time your explosion with more accuracy. The downside to these is they do not have a very good explosion radius, so they will work more effectivly with Sonic Boom (Explaned later) M9A1 Bazooka X 2: Although this is a big bulky weapon, do not underestimate the power and accuracy of them at both long and close range, they also reload pretty speedily and can be the best method of destroying tanks. I find these fun to run around with on small maps getting 2 or more kills per rocket. These can be used effectivly at any skill level. Bomb Squad: If you enjoy playing Tacticaly, Search and Destroy or just hate getting blown up by Bouncing Bettys then this perk is your best friend! You can an explosive indiator through walls and therefore you can blow it up safely and maybe even get a kill with it if your lucky. This is my second favorite perk, just because i cant stand being endlessly blown up by random Bettys on the floor. Bouncing Betty X 2: If your a sniper or like to camp this is the essential perk for you. Place this just around the corner of an entrance route to your position and when the enemy get close to it, BOOM they're dead if they dont see it or have the Bomb Squad perk on. Bandolier: My personal favorite, if you think you are going to get some long streaks, or think you are going to miss alot of kills then i strongly suggest you use this to fuel your gun with bullets, cause we all know how annoying it is to run dry on bullets and miss realy easy kills. Primary Grenades X 2: Great for the average nade spammer, this is good for taking a room of people out without showing your face. This perk allows you to get some easy kills with random grenade throws. M2 Flamethrower: This is my least favourite perk, I dont find this perk efective unless you are on Hardcore mode and encounter a group of people. It will kill reasonably fast but will take time to cool down, nevermind the fact that you run realy slow when you have it out. Perk Two: Stopping Power: This is the perk that everyone should use, as it reduces the ammount of bullets to kills someone. This almost halves the ammount needed to terminate an enemy, this can save your life on so any occasions and also preserve bullets. Fireworks: As mentioned above, this makes the radius of your explosions even bigger and more powerful! This can ensure you easily kill your enemy with that Bazooka! Flak Jacket: I have never seen anyone use this perk if they are not using a pre-set class. All it basicaly does is take some of the damage off an explosion, but if it lands at your feet, your gonna die anyway? Gas Mask: I sometimes need one of these in my bathroom, and it basicaly does the same in-game, it stops you from inhaling Tabun Gas, which can be usefull if enemies are flanking your postition and spamming Gas. Juggernaut: This is my most disliked class, as people take more bullets to kill and render Stopping Power useless. It gives you increased health and is a nightmare for snipers, as users will not die in one bullet unless its a headshot. This perk can be used tacticaly if the enemy team consists of snipers! Some people say that this perk works well with MP40, but i cannot verify this as i have never used it. Camouflage: The Hardcore players best friend! This takes your red dot off the radar whilst you are not shooting with an unsilenced weapon. Brilliant for wandering around and not being "UAV Walked" (Followed on UAV). Good for getting behind enemy lines. Slight of Hand: This allows you to reload at, at least, double the speed of normal, this works best with big guns like the Browning and also guns with a fast fire rate and low ammo in each magazine. Good for rushing enemies. Shades: Another perk that i see as pointless. This reduces glare on signal flares and lets you walk through them and still slightly see. I only see it as useful for looking at people with the perk on and looking at their sunglasses. Double Tap: Brilliant perk, and can be used instead of Stopping Power if your accurate with sub machine guns. It fires your weapons bullets with double the speed, so in theory killing them in half the time. Overkill: Another Hardcore players perk as it allowes you to carry two primary weapons at once without picking any off the floor. Especialy useful on Hardcore as people generaly die in 1 or 2 bullets on most guns. Perk Three: Deep Inpact: Useful for snipers who can see small ammounts of body parts and like to shoot through the walls! It does what it says on the tin, it gives your bullets Deeper Impact, allowing them to go through thicker walls. Deep Pentration! Extreme Conditioning: This works well with shotguns as you have to run further and for longer to get real close to your foes. This perk gives you the oppertunity to run twice as far as someone without it, although you will still run the same speed as someone else. Steasy Aim: The best perk you can have if you spray your weapon alot without aiming, it groups your bullets together more and makes the more accurate, therefore more of your bullets are on target. Tossback: I've never realy used this but i suppose it would work well if you were camping and are getting cooked granades thrown at you. This magicaly resets the fuse on a grenade, so it's just like you pulled the pin on it there and then. Second Chance: This is an annoying perk to be against when rushing. This perk puts you onto the floor with your pistol when you should be dead. It allows you to get a last kill effort just before you die. Totaly useles if you are a sniper. Once you are in Second Chance mode, you will die from almost any ammount of damage in the feild. Also, while you are on the floor, you will receive double the points of normal if you do kill someone. Martyrdom: This perk is great if you just started out and need to get some kills you otherwise cant. For other players it can be annoying if they kill you and then run past your dead body. This perk automaticaly pulls a pin on a grenade and drops it as soon as you die, killing any passer-by's when the fuse reaches detonation. Fireproof: Works well if the enemy is using molotoves of the Flamethrower. It simply reduces the effectiveness of fire based weapons, making the enemies molotov useless on you. Dead Silence: Brilliant for Seach and Destroy and it makes your footsteps dissapear. It is impossibe to hear your foorsteps unless you fall off something. Good for sneaking around and not wanting to be heard. Iron Lungs: Lets you hold your breath in a sniper scope for 20seconds at a time. If you are even a half decent sniper, you shouldn't need to hold it for this long, a perk totaly for the Novice player out there. Reconnaissance: When your team has the radar showing up, all the time unless your on hardcore, it allows you to see where enemy and friendly tanks, dogs and artillary are. Great for dodging danger and death. Definetly the best for against people in tanks. That concludes this guide and just to give it the last finish, here is my favourite set-up: Satchel Charges Stopping Power Steady Aim -Xg Drastic |
